Is Bogosi a destined Pauper in the BDP Kingdom? PART 1

Greetings, in the name of HE who is, was and still to come!

Greetings also in the name of every Elder of the Tribe, Prophet, King and Chief who breathes on this land. Special greetings in the name of every tribe and child of this potentially powerful nation. Greetings to all the good superintending ancestral spirits of this once holy land. Greetings, in the memory of all our great and small, beneficent and vile, who whilst ‘their body has went the way of all earth,’ their spirit has lingered to await propulsion into the appointed paths of life or the path of death.

Reading through and into the chronicles of the debates which preceded the formation of this Republic, and into preferred reasons for the formation of Rule by Democracy over a Federal outfit, I am drawn to a tiny chronicle from a less known and less decorated Father NWM Ngope (1905-2005), but in whose memory Moshupa named a road – Magwabitlhwane Road. His Excellency, the President, would know both the man and the road. But would the President know that it was NWM who helped write for the First Member of Parliament for Moshupa to enter and win a written contest required of the candidates for the post? This and other weightier works by Rre Nobleman Wilfred Magwabitlhwane Ngope do bear the activities of a selfless, and a nationalist spirit and which, merited a nationalist ovation. Bangwaketse and Bakgatla Ba Ga Mmanaana are inheritors of his wisdom, courage, and service over the ninety-three years of life in which he was given to serve his God and his people.

Now, listening to the President speak, as he did recently at the Serowe Kgotla as President about the history of his conscious belonging and continuous presence within the BDP Administration, and about his personal presence at that Serowe Kgotla when then Prince of BaNgwato  was installed King/Kgosi of the BaNgwato by his Father in 1979 and about which he said he even still remembered the words of counsel that the Father gave to the son on the day about Kingship (specifically caution against the ever slippery balance in kingship between the interests of the King, of His uncles, and of the people) and as I add to these doted points  the current and envisioned initiations by the Office of the President, and into his declared road map, I must say: Indeed the President cannot and would not successfully absolve himself from the responsibility and accountability for the all the on-going good and all the on-going vile conditions, circumstances and environment in the Republic over the past fifty-two years between 1966-2018, because in this substantial portion of time, a greater number of those within the administration, as descendants, heirs, active agents and  shepherds, have created the precise conditions, circumstances and environment which now characterise the Republic and everything in it.

One absolute feature of this prevailing environment was that it was presently uncertain whether a time was ever intended to arrive during the BDP reign when Bogosi and its operatives will be restored to their Godly purpose and ministry. Behold the Script which the initiators of the 66 administration forsook in the decade before Independence and which their successors, heirs, and shepherds have continued to forsake in the five decades since Independence: “I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.” (Deut. 1:15). The purpose for their establishment (Dikgosi) and their appointed discourse in public affairs was clear and specific. “And I charged (them) your judges at that time saying, hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.” (Deut. 1:16).  Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God’s: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it” (Deut. 1:17).

Behold, all the BDP Presidential Road Maps since 66: the 66-80 Sir Seretse Khama/BDP Road Map; the 80-98 Sir Masire/BDP Road Map; the 98-2008 Dr Mogae/BDP Road Map; the 2008-2018 DR SKI/BDP Road Map; and now the 2018-2019 Dr Masisi/BDP Road Map.  The authors had individual brilliance. But from the harvest, it was doubtful if their individual brilliances were of the sort which God had enabled to be directed and informed by reference and reverence to Godly Scripts.

The biblical argument against the authors of our condition and circumstance as a Country was that if the series of cabinet operatives since 66 had an enabled spirit to will to walk according to the Laws of God on Bogosi, on Marriage, on Trade, on Homosexuality, on Sorcery, on Liquor, on Poverty, on Foreigners, on Repentance and on Retribution, then the Constitution and its supporting laws; the road maps and their  operatives, the shepherds  and resources, would be as clear and specific in their commitment to a ‘rule of law’ which was based on Godly authority.

A day we hope shall come when all ‘Shepherdship’ shall be by “enabled spirits”.  There was a time when the God of this land could speak to native Prophets as He has done for most of all remembered time. Our Shepherds, being only sons and daughters of men, have willed to transgress. They must just as surely be willing to repent before they and the nation may be healed from the afflictions upon the nation permitted by He against whom the nation transgressed. These afflictions are: presently: death and torment by the sword, death and torment by leroborobo, death and torment by captivity of the sons and daughters of the land by outside nations, death and torment by famine and hunger, which the leadership has brought upon the people and which the people will not become freed from because the peoples’ Shepherds have neglected to “circumcise their sin-bound hearts’ and they have not stopped to refuse to stiffen their necks’ (Deut. 10:16), against the orders of the God of their Fathers.

The unclean (those not Word-bathed) forsake and have forsaken much. This call to all the unclean is from all the good spirits among us who live and it was from the good spirits of those which bodies lay in graves but which spirits still looked upon us from their dwelling places, and it continues to be:  open thy eyes and see; by the well-being and the witheredness of the branches (people ) on the (BDP) tree and by the abundance and scarcity of the fruits on it, we can tell whether the branch/tree dwelt or dwelt not in the vine (the Lord), which was tendered by the vine-dresser (God).

The Power of the Word (over BDP/Sovereign) and of its purpose to the Sovereign was revealed by Christ to the disciples (the clean) when He said of them or of their Word-cleaned-condition: “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you” (John 15:3). But once cleaned by the Word, you, (the desired BDP/Shepherd), strive to ‘abide in the vine, and the vine to abide in you. “Abide in me…since as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you bear fruit, unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me… bears much fruit; for without me you can do nothing (Apostle John 15:5). If anyone (including UN, AU, SADC, BDP, VDC or Church) does not abide in me, he is cast out as branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”

Christ says: “I am the true-vine, and my Father is the vine-dresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit God takes away; and every fruit branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit (John 15:2)
