There was more activity on the Domestic Equity counter at the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday as several companies shed their share prices while others made a gain. On the red, the newly comer to at the exchange house, Botswana Telecommunications Holdings Limited (BTCL) continued on the previous week trend, ending the day trading at 118 Thebe per share following a loss of 0.07 Thebe. BTCL was joined on the losing side by FNBB and G4S which both lost 0.01 Thebe to their share price, ending the trading business dealing at 805 Thebe and 361 Thebe per share respectively.
Sefalana was also on the losing end as its share price lost 0.04 Thebe to close the day at 1325 Thebe per share. There were several gainers on Tuesday as the stock market became lively. Letshego was a notable gainer, carrying from the Monday share growth, adding 0.06 Thebe to its share price and closing business with its shares trading 265 Thebe per share. Chobe and Cresta both gained 0.02 Thebe to their share prices to close the second day of the week dealing at 702 Thebe and 116 Thebe per share respectively. Botswana Insurance Holdings Limited and Afinitas gained 0.01 Thebe and 0.04 Thebe to their share prices respectively to end the day trading at 1603 Thebe and 0.89 Thebe per share respectively. No change in price movements on the Foreign Equity and Exchange Traded Funds was registered on Tuesday.
