Trading resumed on Monday at the Botswana Stock Exchange with 58 transactions taking place on the domestic equity which were enough to raise P10, 154,503.73 in turnover. In a day which saw 2,587,456 volumes of shares traded on the domestic equity, BIHL and Turnstar both gained 0.03 Thebe to their share prices to close the day trading at 1610 Thebe and 313 Thebe per share. Commercial banks, FNBB and Stan Chart both appeared on the red as they lost 0.01 Thebe and 0.23 Thebe to their share prices respectively to end the first day of the week trading at 355 Thebe and 900 Thebe per share. There was no major activity witnessed on the foreign equity main board. However, a transaction took place under the venture capital board with magnum, producing turnover of P5, 844.40. On the Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), there was no movement observed as trading resumed from the weekend.
