Trading resumed on the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday with four companies closing the day on the red and only three moving upwards. Stan Chart together with Choppies were the biggest losers of the day after shedding 10 Thebe each on their share prices to trade at 800 Thebe and 380 Thebe per share respectively. Letshego’s share price lost 3 Thebe to end the day trading at 215 Thebe per share followed by BTCL, which on the day lost a Thebe to trade at 90 Thebe per share. On the upward side, PrimeTime and Sefalana both gained a Thebe to trade at 304 Thebe and 1340 Thebe respectively. On the Foreign Equity, Lucara was the only counter to experience share price movement, gaining 174 Thebe to end the day trading at 3410 Thebe. The market on Monday registered a turnover of P1, 837,055.05 from a total of volume of 1,118,797 shares traded.
