The Governor of Bank of Botswana, Linah Mohohlo, officially opened Bank Gaborone Kang Branch, the seventh outlet of the bank to open in the country.
The opening marks a key event that celebrates the growth of Bank Gaborone and its continued commitment to its mandate of seeing to it that financial inclusion and economic growth is realised in Botswana.
“We are bearing witness to the bank’s commitment to partner with the government in promoting the economic well-being of far afield communities, by way of expanding access to banking services to the previously unbanked members of the society in places like Kang. This is a far-sighted and forward-looking business strategy on the part of Bank Gaborone,” said Governor Linah Mohohlo.
To further emphasise on the quest to provide accessible banking, the branch has a 24/7 ATM, providing cash withdrawal and internet and mobile banking services for customers’ convenience.

This is something we take very seriously because in the highly competitive financial services industry, customer service is key,” said the Managing Director, Andre Barnard.
