The Southern District Agriculture Show will run from 1st to 5th August 2018 in Kanye.

The Agriculture show will be hosted under the theme ‘Agriculture redefined’ which saw many exhibitors in 2017. The show has already found patronage from farmers across Botswana both Arable and Animal Section. It has shown the potential to be one of the best in the country in terms of entries in Poultry, Small stock, Crops and Cattle.

The show intends to empower farmers with farming skills and handling of animals. Exhibitors will also have an opportunity to sell their products and also market their services to the community. Beneficiaries of Young farmers Programme, CEDA young farmers, Poverty Eradication Programme and also established farmers in the Southern, Central and Ghantsi districts are expected to grace the show.  

Exhibitors will be drawn from the telecommunications sector, Manufacturing, Retailers, Education, Motor dealer, Hawkers, Horses, Agriculture, Small scale industries, Pig sections, Diary, Poultry and Government Departments.

There will also be Animal Auction on 4th August at 9am and Horse racing at 2pm.

The official opening of the show will take place on Friday 3rd August 2018 at 08h30 at the Kanye Show grounds.
