FNBB wins Euromoney award

FNBB CEO Steven Bogatsu has announced that the bank has been awarded the best in Botswana by the Euromoney 2018 awards for Excellence.

The award was presented to the bank in London on June 11, 2018 and Bogatsu travelled to collect the award. Bogatsu said on Friday that this is the year second year running that the bank he leads has scooped the award, and he thanked his team for having contributed to this success.

He said the bank’s exploration of digital platforms continue to be the driving force for innovation and change. To date, he says, digital platforms account for 90 percent of all transactions in the bank.

Besides fulfilling digital migration strategy, he says this also drives customer centricity agenda by creating real value for the customers in terms of convenience and cost efficiencies.

He also thanked customers for using the bank and using it as their preferred financial partner. This award is given to institutions with commercial and retail banking capabilities.

It is awarded on the basis of both geographical coverage of a region and best practice within a region. The awards recognise institutions and individuals that demonstrate leadership, innovation and growth momentum in the markets in which they operate.
