Botswana Telecommunications Corporation Limited (BTCL) has launched a new corporate wear that is quite trendy and very classy. Everything seemed to be spot on with the fabrics that they have been chosen and it did fit the employees that were modelling them very well. With a runway that was fit for a professional fashion show of stature, the models worked the ramp as if they owned it. The fashion show was dubbed Runway meets BTCL. Being a telecommunications company that has technical personnel as engineers and technicians, the wear covered all the people at BTCL. This comprised of coats, shirts and pants for technical departments who don't need to be all dressed up, while the other ones catered for those who stay in the office which was in the form of dapper tailor made suits for men and shirts. Women as always have a variety of choices of clothes to wear than men. They adorned the form fitting navy blue dresses, navy blue skirts that were made in different patterns, the long trousers and even the fashion forward 3/4 ones. The shirts also had a variety from the long sleeved ones to the sleeveless ones. In the blazers there were the long and the short ones which they can wear with anything from the dresses, the skirts or even the trousers.
General Manager Human Resources Joy Marie-Marebole - who also rocked their new corporate wear – said that that they saw it fit to add corporate wear to one of the things that they proudly define themselves with at BTCL. She said that though looks can be deceiving, they are indeed an important aspect. She said that this is one of their aims to continue to be one team that will continue to drive telecommunications in this country. She urged the employees to only look good in their new attire but rather they should also serve their customers with the utmost respect that they deserve. She said since they will now be branded with the company merchandise everywhere they go, they should now understand that they will always represent the company to the people outside and as such it is important for them to carry themselves with respect and behaviour that will not shame the company.
