Major Moves Comedy will host an International All Star Comedy Night at the GICC on October 2, 2015.

The event will be headlined by Tol Ass Mo and Queen of comedy Rekunde. Tol A$$ Mo (Totally Outrageous Laughter Avantgarde $treet $tyle Mongezi) has become one of South Africa’s well-known and most sought after comedians. Like many comedians who have gone on to become household names in South Africa, Mo has a humble township upbringing, mixed with a Model C education, the conflict of which has made him a very interesting comic. He's been associated with some high profile brands such as Smirnoff, Converse, Doritos, Mini Cooper. He has also the starred in his own reality show 'Mo Love' on DSTV's VUZU and was the face of Mzansi Magic channel. He has performed at the survival of the hippest festival in Vienna Europe for Austrian delegates. He was also nominated in the “Best Newcomer” category at the first Comic Choice Awards 2011.

His material mainly comprises of stories of his childhood as well as encapsulates the absurdities that come with living in modern day South Africa. He has been featured on the Aromat Comedy Tour, The Just Because Comedy Festival, Tshwane Comedy Festival, the Homecoming Comedy Tour, Triple O Comedy Show, the Comedy Show Live at Lyric, Metro FM Comedy Experience, Blacks Only and many more. Tol A$$ Mo has made a huge impact on the South African comedy industry, holding his own amongst some of the country’s best in a growing list of performances and appearances. Accompanied by a youthful and charming exuberance as well as a fresh and unique perspective to his comedy repertoire, Mo is definitely a bona fide comedy heavyweight. Tol A$$ Mo is all about comedy and high end street fashion and will be performing for the 1st time in Botswana at the All Star Comedy Night.

Kelekwang ‘Rekunde’ Mophaleng is a Maun-based comedienne is no stranger to the local comedy circuit having recently performed at the 2015 Queens of Comedy, HICOFEST 2015, Mahalapye Home Coming Comedy show and 2015 GIMC comedy night. The Maun-based comedienne brings a fresh and innovative humor to all the shows she performs at, always leaving the audience asking for more. Her humorous material has been played on top national radio stations such as Motsweding FM in South Africa and RB2 locally. She has also competed in My African Dream competition and made it to the finals. Rekunde is surely on her way to being one of the best comedians to come out of Botswana.

The show also features Major Moves comedian Phenyo “The Master” Phaladi from Mochudi. “The Master” has had a great performance in South Africa at the monthly Tips & Friends show where got a standing ovation. He was also part of the lineup at the Strictly Come Laughing event where he also impressed. The show will also feature Zimbabwean international Charles Manase who has previously impressed in several shows such as Anne Kansiime show and HICOFEST featuring Chester Missing. He has extensively toured with some of the industry's top comedians and been featured on most Major Moves Comedy shows. He is promising the audience strictly new material for the All Star Comedy Night. Tickets for the comedy night are available at Webtickets & Spar outlets priced from P250 single and P400 double.
