They create events like no other. They don’t use the normal décor materials, but you will find drums that they have turned into tables or chairs, or even using silage as chairs. This is a citizen-owned company that offers creative vision, professionalism and event expertise. The brains behind Native Events Newman Ramatokwane said they are passionate about creating a buzz for all their events. "Our team offers unique tailor made event solutions," he said, adding that they provide elegant planning and meaning to the events that they do.
He said each individual event to them is masterminded to suit budget and taste. He said he has been artistic from a very young age and hence creating and transforming artistically comes as second nature to him. Native Events has been able to orchestrate events that involve the intricacy of their customers’ brands. "We magnify their vision and create the everlasting wow factor," he said. On whether there is a creative team that he is working with, Ramatokwane revealed that he is the brains behind it all but he is backed by a team of hard workers and implementers’ who carry through his ideas.
He said he is always scouting for fresher minds. The talented creator always strives to deliver on promises made to the client and offer personalised experiences with each client interaction. "We have three goals when creating an event: increase interest in attendance, encourage participants to stay, and make the greatest possible impact on your audience," he said. He added that there are no limitations as to how far they can go because they are willing to always explore their highest ability since they understand that every event is an investment.
Their first backyard project was in 2013 and titled the Pallet Kollection where they had pallet couches and coffee tables amongst other things. They have recently launched their second in house project called the Drum Series Kollection - drum series of cocktail tables. Ramatokwane said they will soon launch the lounge as part of the Kollection.
