Travelodge has unveiled its new conference centre, launching into a market which has been a preserve of big hotel players. They believe they are capable of becoming one of the most sought after venues locally. Located at the heart of Block 3 suburb in Gaborone, Travelodge boasts of a new stunning conference space that can be split over two floors and can take up to 500 delegates.
General Manager Cameron Thompson said that their packages are inclusive of a lot of things among them Wi-Fi and audio visuals. The conference rooms are said to provide the perfect professional setting for up to 50-500 guests cinema style and can also be converted into four smaller meeting rooms to accommodate smaller delegations or used for creative exhibitions. “Our conference rooms also feature high definition projectors, screens and optional handheld and lapel microphones and each conference room offers great amenities,” he said.
He said that there is also the executive boardroom that has lot of natural light, ergonomic chairs and Oakwood tables to add the executive feel of the room as does the screen and fully integrated PC/AV technology and wireless keyboard just among the many things that are there. The place is easy to reach from the western by-pass.
