The Executive Director for Mmasechaba Showbiz and Entertainment Expo Bafana Kube says their Expo advocates for equal opportunities for females (youth) in the showbiz, entertainment and the creative arts industry. The event will be run by Adopt-A-Teen-Youth Club at Botho University on August 12. Kube says they want to provide an annual platform which will enable them to network, identify new opportunities, build sustainable relationships and showcase their talents. The whole day event will have panel discussions on topics such as Strategies for Success; Talent is Business; How to Build an Entertainment Brand; Importance of Mentorship in the arts and entrainment industry, why some talent die poor and the role of regulators like COSBOTS and CIPA. “We are looking forward to hosting a successful event where many young people will be able to learn so much that will make them better persons,” he says. He added that they are still looking for more partners to come on board in order to make the day even much valuable.
