Dramaboi unplugged

Dramaboi proved that he is the local King of Hip Hop and Motswako Music at his unplugged show at Botswana Craft last Friday. Not only did he outdo himself, but the evening’s line-up drawn from different musical genres was on fire. The sassy songstress Gaone kept the revellers in the dancing mood showcasing her vocal ability; MMP Family had fans screaming for more; Rizz gave a laid back cool performance; Katlego – Dramaboi’s sister – also rocked the stage alongside his brother in the hit Sala Le Nna that they wrote as a dedication to their grandmother. All his performances were live, other than the solos of his invited artists.

Dramaboi sealed off the show by showing off her mother to the fans who screamed in appreciation. He thanked all his supporters for turning up. “I thank each one of you because you made me what I am, and that is why I am standing before you in appreciation,” he said.  Some of the fans hailed his humility and laid back persona. “I wouldn’t have missed Dramaboi’s performance for anything; this is my guy and we got none like him in BW,” Phillip Taelo said. The event took three straight hours with Dramaboi performed for two hours.
