The line-up for 2017 GIMC festival has been released and is mouth-watering. The Director of the event Fish Pabalinga said the 90% line-up is much stronger than the one that they had last year. One of the exciting acts this year is Botswana’s UK-based curvaceous queen Loraine Lionheart. She is popularly adored for her music as well as her hourglass shape that always leaves her fans panting for more. Other acts include the MMP Family, Veezo, Mafikizolo and Prince Kaybee. The weeklong event always kick-starts with a jazz event and this year revellers can look up to seeing live on stage USA’s Grammy Award winning artist Kirk Whalum. Pabalinga said they will deliver the same quality that they have been bringing to the event over the past four years. He is always vocal about artists stepping out to better their art, and this is done every year by making sure that the festival is accompanied by a workshop where local artists can be grilled on various areas. The show will take place from August 26 to September 2. Many artists are already very excited about gracing the event with Lorraine Lionhearted always reminding her fans about the event. Zenzele Hirchsfield, who manages both Veezo and MMP Family, said that she is very excited that both of her artists have made it to the line-up and Batswana should expect to be thrilled. “My boys are getting ready for GIMC and I can promise that they will give Batswana a worth of their money the same way they always do when they get on the stage because they are all talented and we know they are best performers,” she said.
