Are there enough platforms for designers?

As a fashion entrepreneur it is very important to be involved in various events and platforms to demonstrate and exhibit the latest and finest craftsmanship of your brand in a professional setting. Fashion designers cannot do it all behind a computer screen especially in Botswana. People are always potential clients and business partners, so it is vital for them to see something new and different from what other designers have to offer. In such events like the Global Expo Rorisang Lu had a chance to display the best of the 'Samurai of Love' collection to the audience of fellow entrepreneurs and general public. As the models walked down the ramp, the audience cheered and applauded, thus making the show a success. Do you think that there are enough platforms for local designers in Botswana to showcase their work? Do you think designers outside of Gaborone are also forgotten? Beyond being a client what can one contribute to a budding entrepreneur?  In the creative industry these questions are necessary and as a fashion brand, it is important to know what is being done or not. Let me know what you think via the Rorisang Lu Facebook page.
