Choppies launched a lively, dynamic, buoyant and amusing fashion line dubbed Blue at Game City rooftop on Saturday. The line included spectacular outfits from summer dresses, jumpsuits, shorts and T-shirts. Among guests at the show was Choppies CEO Ramachandran Ottapathu, who all seemed stunned by the collection. The fashion show was made even more exciting by South African MC Thulazizwe Dambuza who rocked the runway, made people laugh, scream and above all have fun looking at the collections that were shown. Choppies Marketing Manager Otsile Marole said they wanted to be part of the Fashion Mentor Week because it was a young people initiative, which demonstrated their creativeness. The ready to wear collection showed clothes that were fun to wear, flirty, sexy, stylish and well suited for each and every person and for each and every occasion. There were outfits that someone could rock if they were going to a party, to the beachside and even to the office. Both the females and the males are well catered for by the home grown label. One Boniface Badubi, who attended the show, said that he was surprised by what he saw and did not expect it at all. “Honestly this collection is remarkable. I didn’t come here expecting this and I am very sure that some of the people who came here with less expectation have actually been thrilled. I can get anywhere and buy all this, and for ladies it is just way too cute and trendy,” he said. Some models wore JB Sports gear pairing them with the Blue line and while carrying gadgets from Office Berry.
