The Store Sip and Paint – an eclectic event that fuses fine wine with art – is scheduled for March 3, 2018 at Wagga Gardenex in Gaborone. Guests are expected to be treated to wine tasting, gourmet food and live entertainment.Event facilitator Lolo Sejoe said Sip and Paint is a platform to have fun, bond, socialise and appreciate art while at it. She said the event will be hosted quarterly. “The event is for art lovers, art collectors, and anyone who would love to uncork their creativity,” Sejoe said. Sejoe said local art instructor Lesedi Rabothako will be taking attendees through a simple crash course on how to recreate classics such as the Van Gogh, starry sky of the Rhone river, Leonardo da Vinci; Mona Lisa, Pablo Picasso; violin and grape. She said Rabothako has over 10 years’ experience in art with a BA honours in Fine Art, traditional Chinese painting and Calligraphy.  “All supplies will be provided and the final masterpiece is a work of art ready to be taken home and hung on the wall. People should expect an opulent, fun filled event and at the back drop of that fun is just a celebration of art over good wine,” Sejoe emphasized.
