One of the finest local theatre practitioners in Neo Kebidistwe with vast experience in playwriting, directing and producing will from June 4-7 host the International Artistic Cultural Exchange with Mbizo Chirasha. Chirasha is a writer in Residence of international conference of African Culture and Development, Citizens Justice Activist, Creative Arts Project Catalyst Internationally Anthologized Poet and Founder of Zimbabwe ‘We want Poetry Campaign’. Kebiditswe recently wrote and directed the play Motlhala which received international recognition as the official Text dramatisation for the upcoming Women International Playwrights in Chile, which is amongst top 10 plays in Africa. Kebiditswe said the International Artistic Cultural exchange is an initiative that is aimed at equipping artists with the necessary skills to make them globally competitive. “This is a four-day training that will cover essential topics that will help artists to create their brand and conduct themselves as businesses and with professionalism,” she said. She called on theatre artists, playwrights, poets, film makers, authors, bloggers, visual artists, theater, film students and many other creative to attend the event because through the event they can be able to learn artists’ issues on development on personal and product branding, social media visibility, social media ethics, publishing, e-marketing, international journals and creative reviews. She said artists can learn from the immense knowledge that Chirasha is bringing to the event having done incredibly well in his creative career.
