Soweto Comedy Festival comes to Molapo Crossing

The second instalment of 2018 Soweto Comedy Festival is a few weeks away. It is set for August 24, 2018 from 8pm at the Stanbic Piazza at Molapo Crossing in Gaborone.

On April 20th, the famous event kicked off the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of this prestigious relationship between Botswana and Soweto Comedians under the leadership of Kedibone Mulaudzi at the Maitisong Festival. They thrilled the audiences with a spectacular show hosted by MOD and Chris Mapane. It featured Botswana’s Bambino, Triccs and Zimbabwe’s Brian Sibanda who went head to head with Thapelo ‘Kingflat’ Mametja and Skholo Manyisa. It was a ‘ribcracking’, almost sold out evening, the biggest paying show of the Maitisong Festival 2018.
