UB Indoor Sport Arena will be a hive of activity on August 25 when South African gospel giants Joyous Celebrations headline a ‘Life Changing Concert’, alongside local artistes and comedians.

The multiple award winning group that has produced mega gospel superstars will be performing hits from their latest album Joyous Celebrations 22. Founding member of Joyous Celebrations, Lindelani Mkhize, who also doubles as a conductor/producer was in Gaborone last week Thursday to promote the show. “It is long overdue for us to come here,” Mkhize told journalists at a press briefing on July 12, in the company of other members of the group among them Phumzile Luthuli, Saone Sefako, Andiswa Mbantsa and Khayelihle Sibanyoni.

MKhize was very excited about being in Gaborone and expressed heartfelt gratitude about the warmth and support from local followers of the group. He said the upcoming concert will be a memorable experience because the group performs at their best on stage. Encouraging local fans to attend the show in good numbers, Mkhize said he hopes the concert turns into an annual event where Joyous Celebration will perform in Botswana every August.
