Christian Revival Church hosted their annual Harvest Festival in Gaborone at the National Stadium on September 13. The event does not only happen in Botswana, but rather it happens in many cities around the world where CRC has branches.  Among the many dignitaries that graced the event were Vice President Slumber Tsogwane and the Assistant Minister of Culture Development Phillip Makgalemele.

Senior Pastor of CRC Botswana Pastor JJ van Rooyen applauded everyone who graced the event where he said their intention were to make sure that people get to know about God and that is why the event was made free of charge for anyone to attend.

The church offers quite a very dynamic praise, with the members who are very energetic and welcoming. He said that is the mandate of the church, in order to make everyone feel welcome without feeling like they are being judged, especially the youth.

CRC is a global church which was started by Pastor Boshoff in Bloemfontein, South Africa.

“As a church, we pray for the government and partner with them in building our nation because only Jesus can meet all our needs. Our greatest need is our spiritual need. We’re all searching for something and most people search in the wrong places. We need a relationship with the living God which will fulfill all the emptiness we feel. Seeing the thousands getting saved and taking that first step towards a relationship with Jesus is what it's all about,” he said.
