Members of the fourth estate put their pens and note books aside and treated the patrons at My Kind of Place restaurant to a night of karaoke.
The sold out events proved to be a necessary medicine to cure the revelers from the boredom of mid-week as they laughed their lungs out as journalists belted out songs with some proving that the signing is not one of their talents.
The show which was organized by Botswana Media and Allied Workers (BOMAWU) attracted corporate executives who also participated in the singing event. Some of those who sang include head of Communications at Mascom Wireless Tebogo Lebotse Sebego who serenaded the reveled with her own Tswana version of Tina Turner’s song.
Orange Botswana’s Communication specialist Carol Kgafela also proved that singing is her greatest enemy as she sang out of tune.
