The sixth edition of the Rasesa Social Picnic is slated for the 9th of March 2019 at Masa Gardens in Rasesa. This is an out-of-town experience not to be missed. It caters for both young and old who will enjoy the tranquilising lake view of the garden.
“The inspiration to have started this social feast was because of the bi-annual South African Major League Gardens event. Batswana would travel each year just to attend this soulful picnic. Our love and passion for entertainment and client satisfaction was inspired from there, thus we came up with the Rasesa Social Picnic concept. The aim of this event has always been to awaken and nourish positive entertainment in the community and support local talent. We are renting out stall(s) to local businesses to give them the chance to showcase their services and products to those attending the event. This will give them the relevant exposure for business growth while making profit and enjoying the ambiance. We believe in nurturing and supporting other talents and skills for the better-ment of the BW entertainment industry,” said Bakang Phiri, the organiser of the event.
“The social picnic gives us an opportune time to have quality time with loved ones in a safe family friendly environment. After the hustle and bustle of the city, what better way than to unwind in a serene lake view of the garden,” said Phiri.
There will be a stage that’s set for DJ’s and live performances, this will be a local narrative resonating the ambiance that is expressed best through music and dancing. The Phakalane Primary School marimba group will be gracing the social feast with their melodious performances. Ndalala the clown and his minions will be there keeping the kids entertained.
