Almost every man is fascinated with cars. Some locals always try to organise car shows a captivating way. Over the weekend a Show and Shine car display was held in which owners paraded the best cleaned cars.  The organiser of the competition Otsile Chenchi said they  came up with the idea to hold the event because cars have always been his first love. He runs a business of pimping cars on a day to day basis, so showcasing cars just came naturally to him. The show is all about the extreme cleanliness of the car. He said participants are the ones who choose whether to come with their car all cleaned up and ready for display, or whether the owner will let them clean it spotlessly for a fee, and  they will then display the car.
A panel of judges choose the best cleaned cars which then win prizes. He said they ask for registration fee for competitiors, and part of the money is used for refreshments. “It is more of a fun event where friends can just come together and relax while enjoying their refreshments and meat,” he said. Unlike car shows which are more into the striking exterior and interior of the cars, this one can be attended by all different model owners since it is all about the exquisite cleanliness and less about which model of the car it is and the way it is pimped up. “Anyone can just come together to showcase their car, and before we made it public we used to do it just as friends,” he said.
Chenchi said other things that sometimes happen there is the sound competition in which they check which car has the best sound. He said  they now want to make it big and host the show in open spaces where everyone will get to watch.
