Being the Managing Directors of Big Talk Communications and having other businesses that he is involved in; Kabelo-Romeo Brown has a lot on his plate. Despite all this he said that he always makes time for everything, especially for family and to have fun. Big Talk Communications is a company that focuses in events management, MC-ing, life coaching, mentoring and sound hire just to name a few. He said their aim as the company is to make sure that they become a one stop company where their clients can manage to find all the services that they need under one roof. He said their products are tailor made in order to fit the needs of their customers, even those on a very tight budget. He emphasised that though they sometimes cater for people who are limited on budget, they never compromise quality. He said he started mentoring people and giving motivational talks because it was his passion and he was doing it for free, but as time went on he realised that he can actually make a living out of it, and that is when he turned it into a company.
He said that it has always been his dream to empower, inspire, inform and educate Batswana. "I have been fortunate to have worked in the corporate world, travelled the world and at the same time to be self-employed. So I have actually lived all the facets and I think I can really inspire young people like me with my experiences," he said. He said they cater for almost each and every company in which with he has held workshops, seminars and kiddies parties. He said there are those that they cannot do because as a company they want to do things that add value to the community by promoting dignity and good value not wayward things. Brown said he has a few full time employees with most of them part time, but aspires to be able to hire more young people who need jobs in this country. Though based in Gaborone, Brown said they have strategic partners in places around the country and also expanding into SADC countries.
He said his dream is to see his company having grown bountifully and having helped create businesses for young people from their life coaching and mentorship programs. On what inspires him, Brown said he gets fulfilment from seeing someone succeed because he has helped them. He said he is a very ambitious man, a go-getter yet humble and down to earth. On what he does when not in a suit and tie, Brown said he wears so many hats where he is involved in social uplifting programs, help under-privileged people, very committed to church and also involved with sport where he is part of Gaborone United among other things. He said apart from all this he always takes time to be alone in order to reflect and rejuvenate while he also enjoys a home cooked meal. Despite his success, Brown does not have a woman in his life but rather said to watch the space. He said he likes unwinding with his friends and family and also have so much fun though he does not drink or smoke and that he is a believer of "Work hard and play hard'.
