The High court case in which the Law Society of Botswana (LSB) and attorney Omphemetse Motumise are suing President Ian Khama over his refusal to appoint Motumise as a high court judge following a recommendation by the Judicial Services Commission (JSC) continues tomorrow (Thursday).

The matter is scheduled for status hearing to confirm 9 November 2015 as the date for arguments. The latest interesting developments are that the LSB will be filing an interlocutory application to have the complete minutes of the 1966 London Bechuanaland Constitutional Conference filed. Private radio station Gabz FM has also filed an application to be allowed to broadcast live the proceedings.
