Parly investigates Ntuane nomination

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Kagiso Molatlhegi has pleaded with MPs to afford him more time to investigate the nomination of Botsalo Ntuane and Dumelang Saleshando. “I am on it as we speak. I have gathered all that can come in handy in my investigations including the Hansard,” Molatlhegi said.
Molatlhegi was responding to Franscistown South Member of Parliament Wynter Mmolotsi  who had requested the Deputy Minister to explain why after a request by opposition members  asking the speaker to reveal the names of those who nominated the two aforementioned politicians was turned down on Friday last week,  theVice President then released a press statement fingering opposition members for the act, espeacially Ntuane’s nomination.
“I request that the speaker treat this matter with the seriousness that it deserves and stop btriavilising it,” said Mmolotsi. Mmolotsi questioned how Masisi got to know such information which by right is only priviledged to the speaker. “ Does that mean you chose to show the names to Masisi instead of parliament and if so does that mean you rather serve Masisi and the BDP rather than the parliament that you lead,” asked Mmolotsi.
