Orange Botswana has today launched a new service called ‘International Airtime Transfer' allowing prepaid customers to transfer airtime to prepaid accounts globally.

Orange customers currently are able to transfer credit between local Orange numbers using the Easyshare service. This is now enhanced by International Airtime Transfer as Orange Botswana customers are connected to more than 50 mobile network operators across more than 15 countries including; MTN, Vodacom, 8ta and Cell C in South Africa, Econet and Telecel in Zimbabwe and nearly all mobile networks in India. More network operators and countries will be added on a continuous basis.

“International Airtime Transfer is designed understanding the growing needs of the diverse community we have in Botswana. It also recognizes all the friends and family that some Orange customers have abroad including Batswana studying abroad" said Lebogang Moruti, Offers and Services Manager at Orange Botswana.
