Sheep Association launches competition

Marsh Botswana has partnered with Botswana Sheep Breeders Association (BSBA) to bring to the farmers a competition which will take winners to the 2016 NAMPO agricultural show, the partnership was announced on Monday at a press briefing. The competition runs until the 10th of May this year whereupon eight winners will be announced to attend the show. The competition, it has been said, is open to all BSBA members in good standing – that is those who have fully paid up their subscription fees. The guideline of the competition is that one has to simply become a paid member of the association and their name will be entered into the draw.

Marsh  Botswana Managing Director, Frizgerald Dube, said they are thrilled to partner with the association in the competition as the NAMPO is one of the biggest agricultural shows in the world. “It is the Mecca of farmers. Every farmer dreams of going there at least once in their lifetime,” said Dube. “One of the reasons why we saw it fit to be part of this initiative is because we have realized that when it comes to farming, insurance has always been the missing variable.”
Aobakwe Gofamodimo, chairman of the association, also expressed joy at their partnership with the Marsh Botswana “We are delighted with our partnership with Marsh Botswana and look forward to a long term relationship with them. There is a synergy between our organisations that we feel will result in a highly beneficial relationship for both of us,” he said.
