Botswana’s second city, Francistown will on the 22nd of October join 300 other cities in 31 countries around the world to heed one of America’s most sought after Leadership expert, John C. Maxwell ‘s L2: Learn –Lead via simulcast .
L2: Learn -Lead is a simulcast event geared at leadership development by giving seminars worldwide through speakers - in a convenient, half day format. This year the event will be featuring three international speakers; Maxwell, Linda K. Thaler and Tim Sanders.
The event will for the first time be brought to Botswana by one of the few independent certified coach, teacher and speaker with The John Maxwell Team, Hannah Lecha, a 41-year-old Maun born entrepreneur.
She explained that as the event will be broadcast live in Atlanta in the United States of America, other audiences will simultaneously watch live the broadcast via web broadcast hence affording them a chance to heed the message in exactly the same time as it is being said.
According to Lecha, though it is a norm for events of this magnitude to be hosted in the capital city of Gaborone, for a change, she chose to host it in Francistown to give the country’s northerners a chance. “I have a strong passion to develop the northern part of this country. That is why I choose to host the event there,” Lecha said.
The Francistown audience will be treated to a 90-minutes of simulcast teaching with Maxwell, recognised six years in a row as the number one leadership expert in the world. Maxwell will give teaching of the materials from the Good Leaders Ask Great Questions series. He will also share about the power of questions and how they relate to success, leadership and opportunity.
An internationally renowned leadership expert, coach and author with more than 22 million books sold, Maxwell founded the John Maxwell Company and EQUIP, organisations that have trained more than 5 million leaders in 185 countries. Every year he speaks to Fortune 500 and 100 companies, international government leaders, and organizations such as the United States Military Academy at West Point, the NFL, and the United Nations. John Maxwell travels the world teaching his unique and inspirational live it - out approach to leadership.
Prior to the simulcast session there will be a two and half-hour Knowledge Sharing Seminar facilitated by Hannah Lecha, where she will give an insight on the importance of self-leadership ,authentic journaling and its benefits and the power of the mind.
