Seoul’s Foreign Ministry says a South Korean was shot and killed by a burglar in Botswana. A Foreign Ministry official said a South Korean national was shot to death and another was injured by an intruder, who broke into their residence in the eastern town of Palapye at around 2 a.m. Sunday, local time.
The official said the ministry immediately dispatched its consulate staff stationed in Botswana to the crime scene. An official in charge of consular affairs at the South Korean Embassy to South Africa also plans to visit the scene.
