BDP expels Enga, Moreti 

The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) has expelled the two councillors from Maun East constituency. Duncan Enga - the chairman of the North West District Council and Vepaune Moreti who is the deputy chairman for Maun Administrative Authority Sub Council - have confirmed that they have been expelled from the party but could not go into further details, saying they will address a press conference about the developments. “Tomorrow we will be addressing a press conference where will be explaining our next move,” Enga said.  however Information gathered reveals that the two councillors have been expelled in the party for violating party resolutions. The councillors have been serving suspension for 60 days for defying party caucus after the two won at the North West District Council elections that were held in May this year.
