Ministers get P19 million luxury cars

Government has spent P19, 736,958.12 on new luxurious ministerial cars, Parliament has been told. According to Minister of Transport and Communications Kitso Mokaila 18 BMW 740s have been bought for full ministers while 10 BMW 530s are for assistant Ministers. Answering a question from MP for Francistown South Wynter Mmolotsi, Mokaila said they have to replace the 10 year old vehicles whose motor plans have expired and could not be extended further. On what they will do with the old BMW, he said that the best five of the old ones will be used during VIP official visits while the intention is to auction the remaining ones to citizens.According to reviews of the BMW 7 Series, it has an Ambient Air Package that ionizes a choice of eight perfumes, and a 16-speaker, 1,400-watt Bowers and Wilkins surround sound audio system. The latest BMW's remote controlled parking feature that parks the 7-Series into a garage or parking space. The BMW 7 series are ranked number 3 in super luxury cars.
