In preparations for the beMOBILE premier league games that resume of the 15th January 2015, log leaders Township Rollers are in their mid-season training camp in South Africa. While is South Africa the team is scheduled to play three matches against Bidvest Wits, Kaizer Chiefs and German side Hoffeinheim. The team left for South Africa on January 3 and returns on January 10. Rollers who are currently riding high in the league are at pole position appear keen to win the league title, hence the mid-season training camp.
Rollers spokesperson Bafana Pheto confirmed that the team is in good shape and ready for the league to resume. According to Rollers website the team’s head coach, Mark Harrison is pleased with the shape of the team. However, the coach said the training camp will help further evaluate the team. Rollers play Wits tomorrow (Thursday) at 10am before taking on the German outfits Hoffeinheim on the 9th January 2016. On Sunday 10th Rollers will play against Soweto Giants Kaizer Chiefs in the morning. The team will then return home later during the day.
