The beMOBILE premier league resumes this Friday (15/01/2016) following the Christmas and New Year recess. The fight for the championship is expected to intensify as teams are currently beefing up their squads this transfer window. This is a very crucial stage for teams as it will determine who stays and who goes at the end of the seasons.

It is this stage that the team’s tactical awareness and endurance will be seen as some look at improving their chances of winning the league while others fight against relegation. The premier league resumes with two games on Friday evening as 5th placed Miscellaneous take on the ever improving Gilport Lions. In the other game BDF XI travel to Phikwe to lock horns with Nico United.

A mouth-watering encounter is expected on Saturday as Gaborone United take on high riding Orapa United in Orapa. Orapa United have not been be beaten at home and GU will have a long toll to cross. In the other match 3rd place Mochudi Centre Chiefs will play the ailing Sankoyo Bush Bucks. Chiefs will be looking to collect maximum points to keep their hopes of defending the championships alive.

There will be only one match on Sunday when log leaders Township Rollers travel to Jwaneng to play Jwaneng Galaxy. Rollers' mood is very high following their mid-season camp in South Africa. It is expected that they take all they have to Galaxy as they are in search to collect maximum points.
