Orapa United spokesman Tebatso Hule insists his team has a great chance to win the league despite tough competitions from heavyweights like Township Rollers and Mochudi Centre Chiefs. Hule made it clear that their intention is to better the second position that the team achieved last season by winning the league. “We are not participating but competing. We might be in the third position but we still have a game in hand that we will have to capitalise on. It is no secret that our desire is to win the league and that is evidenced by our good league run thus far,” Hule pointed out. The Ostriches are currently on third position with 49 points, having not lost one match, drawn once and won three in their last five previous league games.

Orapa United have a well-balanced team of youngsters and experienced players like Ronald Chikomo and Thabang Sesinyi. “In our team we do not look at players as individuals as we believe every player has a role to play. Yes, Thabang Sesinyi is a good player but we do not want to put him under pressure as this is the first time he is performing this well in the league. He is coming up well; we just hope he continues with his good play,” Hule said. It would be no surprise if the Ostriches win the league as they are mentored by the reputable Madinda Ndlovu who has won the league with Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Township Rollers respectively. They play BR Highlanders on Tuesday.
