The judgement of a case in which Mochudi Centre Chiefs are appealing the ruling of the Botswana Premier League Disciplinary Committee is expected to be delivered on June 6, 2016. Centre Chiefs lodged an appeal with the National Disciplinary Committee in protest of the reversal of docking Rollers points by the BPL DC. The NDC heard the matter yesterday (Monday) and ordered both teams to submit their written head of arguments by 03 June 2016. The judgment on the appeal is expected to be delivered on Monday next week. The case has been dragging for long in a battle to determine who this season’s beMOBILE premier league champions are. The national disciplinary committee is the last structure that the team can appeal their case to. It remains to be seen if any of them will exercise their right to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) should they lose. However, sources close to Mochudi Centre Chiefs camp have hinted that the club is ready to accept any outcome of the case and move on. The source said the team now want to focus on preparing for the coming season and the case is draining and taking a lot of their team.
