The 2015/2016 beMOBILE premiership season has finally been concluded with Township Rollers officially declared the champions. Botswana Football Association (BFA) made an announcement on Tuesday afternoon. The announcement comes shortly after the team withdrew an appeal case it had lodged before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Rollers had lodged a case with CAS in protest of the ruling by BFA Disciplinary Committee that Ofentse Nato was a defaulter. The case resulted in the league failing to conclude on set schedule, a development that irked sponsors which resulted in them withholding the price money for the clubs. Rollers claimed the championship after beating Mochudi Centre Chiefs 5-1 in a playoff game to determine the winner. The win placed them top of the log with 65 points ahead of Chiefs at 63 points.
