Botswana's Kabelo Seakanyeng could be heading to SA

Botswana midfielder, Kabelo Seakanyeng, could be set to jet into South Africa in the near future, with the Absa Premiership’s ‘Big Three’ all likely destinations. The 23-year-old, who is currently playing for Gaborone United, is looking to make the next move in his career after making the switch from Botswana Defence Force earlier this year. According to Siya sources, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns are all potential options for a trial in South Africa in the coming months, while Platinum Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic are also keen to bring him along. Prince Rakgomo, client service manager at The Gent Sports, confirmed the news to the Siya crew in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, saying, “Kabelo Seakanyeng of Gaborone United in Botswana will be coming down to South Africa to train with one of the top three, but Bloemfontein Celtic and Platinum Stars are also in the running.” The Siya crew will continue to monitor Seakanyeng’s situation in the coming months to see if a trail in Mzansi materialises for him or not.
