BTC Premiership new entrants Black Forest continued their impressive start to the 2016/2017 this weekend season defeating BDF XI 1-0. The win saw the mankgodi-based outfit move to position 3 in the log with 13 points behind leader Orapa united and Extension Gunners both with 16 and 15 points respectively. Black Forest look set to achieve their mandate of remaining in the elite league at the end of the season. Orapa United regained the top spot following 2-0 win over Mahalapye United Hotspurs while Gunners played to a 1-all draw with Sankoyo Bushbucks. On Saturday Mochudi Centre Chiefs beat Township Rollers 3-2 in a tightly contested game. This saw Rollers tumble to position four with 12 points. It is as if it was the weekend of surprises as another new entrant Security System dealt a blow to Gaborone United (GU), defeating them 2-1. In other results Jwaneng Galaxy walloped Green Lovers 2-0 while Gilport Lions played to a 1-all draw with Miscellaneous. Police XI continued their poor performance losing by 1 - 2 to Nico United.
