Systems shock BDF XI

The BTCL premiership resumed this weekend after the New Year break with an upset for BDF XI. The army side was gunned down 2-0 by BTCL premiership rookies Security Systems on Friday evening. Systems continued their impressive run to move up to position 6 on the log with 19 points. Another BTCL premiership new entrant Black Forest were held to a 1-all draw by Extension Gunners to end their winning ways. In other games Log leaders Orapa United maintained their two points lead at the top by beating Green Lovers 2-1 on Sunday. United are currently at pole position with 27 points. Second placed Township Rollers thrashed BMC 3-1 to maintain the spot with 25 points. On third position are Jwaneng Galaxy with 25 points. The Jwaneng side on Saturday hammered Mahalapye Hotspurs by 3 goals to nil.
