Dynamos, Highlanders cleared to play in Botswana

Highlanders and Dynamos have been cleared by both Zifa and Premier Soccer League to take part in a four team invitational tournament in Botswana. The tournament which was initially scheduled for 29 July has been shifted to 19 and 20 August at Francistown Sports Complex. “We have been cleared by both Zifa and PSL to play in the Botswana invitational tournament on 19 and 20 August. We have signed contracts that were sent to us by the organisers of the event Joy Foundation,” said Bosso chief executive officer Nhlanhla Dube. Director of Joy Foundation Joy Setshedi said she was happy that the Zimbabwean teams have been given the go ahead. She added that Tafic and Mochudi Centre Chiefs have also been given the green light by the Botswana Football Association to take part in the tournament. The tournament will be launched in Botswana next week Friday. The second launch will be done in Bulawayo a few days after.
