PPC General Manager Tuelo Botlhole says they are excited about the PPC Kgale Challenge Marathon which takes place on Sunday (June 24, 2018) because the company is associated with products that show strength. He said they are looking for a bigger and better marathon this year, especially because it is their 20th year anniversary.
Botlhole said the race attracts participants from South Africa and Namibia some of whom are professional runners. “At the same time we are also happy that the challenge attracts recreational runners, corporate teams and families who are also looking for an activity that will push them beyond their limits and build a stronger bond between them,” he said.
He encouraged families to register as he will also be coming with the whole of his family. He urged people to come prepared for the race and train well before the actual race so that they can be fit both physically and emotionally. The primary beneficiary from the event will be Mokolodi crèche which requires assistance to complete their ablution block, to extend the kitchen and add a classroom. The race starts at 7am on the day and the registration fee is P150.
