BeMobile Premiership log leaders Township Rollers got a moral boost on Monday when their headcoach Mark Harrison was awarded the Coach of the Month Award, while attacking Left Winger Galabgwe Moyana bagged the "Player of the Month" Award. The duo was nominated by the Botswana Premier League Technical Study Group (BPL TSG) for the month of February. The team, through social media, gave the duo "hearty congratulations and wished them and the team good luck ahead, to continue navigating the Blue ship to sail smoothly towards the glorious shores".
Rollers face Gaborone United in their next game in a Gaborone derby on Saturday, in what promises to be a mouthwatering encounter by all accounts. The Blues, who have been showing little respect for their opponents in the premiership, will be looking to continue their dominance over The Reds after annihilating relegation threatened Satmos FC 0-5 last Saturday. Free scoring dangerman Segolame Boy-who has been sidelined by injury, returned to the pitch against the weak Satmos to bang four of the five goals, sending a clear warning to opponents yet to meet them. Although he has not gained full fitness, according to Harrison, Boy will prove to be a thorn on the side of defenders alongside returnee Terrence Mandaza- who registered his first goal in his second game for the team against Satmos.
That Gaborone United has had a challenging season with mixed fortunes on and off the field will amount to nothing when the battle for bragging rights ensues on match day. Moyaleele alias The Money Machine will be out to steal the thunder from Popa Popa who have assembled the best squad in the league by far.
